Former TNA & WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam will return to action on Friday June 21st as he’ll be working for Family Wrestling Entertainment in Queens, NY at the ELMCOR Center.
RVD will be wrestling Tommy Dreamer in his first post-TNA match. The two have feuded in ECW in 1997 before reprising that feud in WWE in a classic bout at Madison Square Garden, which unified the Intercontinental and Hardcore championships. Here is the promotional poster:

- Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion announced on Monday that Ric Flair and Terry Funk, who had a legendary feud over the NWA World Heavyweight title back in 1989, will be making a special appearance together at the upcoming House of Hardcore 2 event in Philadelphia, PA on June 22nd at the National Guard Armory.
- WWE superstar The Miz, who is currently out of action filming the WWE Studios movie Christmas Bounty, tweeted the following on Monday afternoon:

- Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore 2 will take place on June 22nd from the National Guard Armory in Philadelphia. Announced is a rematch from the first HOH event – Brian Kendrick and Paul London vs. The Young Bucks.
- We noted yesterday that indy wrestler Sami Callihan is reportedly undergoing medical tests for a potential WWE deal. Word is that now that the WWE Performance Center has been announced, more indy wrestlers will be signing deals soon.
- Leading up to the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, there were reportedly times when Bob Backlund told officials he was going to back out of the ceremony. Apparently Backlund felt like he was going to be overshadowed by the other members of this year’s class.
